Creating High-end PDF Files
Penton currently uses a complete PDF workflow for the computer-to-plate process. Penton requests that you DO NOT export a pdf file from within your native application. We have found that these files are not as reliable as a postscript file, which is then distilled through Acrobat Distiller. This site will allow you to download Penton's job options for your version of Acrobat Distiller. For information on creating a postscript file.

Acrobat Distiller 7.0

On the Macintosh, place Penton's job options into your Adobe Acrobat/ Distiller / Settings folder.
For Acrobat 6 and 7, you can add new job options by dragging them onto the Distiller window.

On a Windows platform, place Penton's job options to the Program Files / Adobe / Acrobat/ Distillr / Settings folder.
